Welcome back to Friday Hacks!
We will be sharing about what we do and the importance of fostering hacker culture in NUS. We will also give an overview of the events that we have lined up for the upcoming academic year and how you can get involved in helping us spread the joy of hacking!

Building things in public
Talk Description:
In this talk, I will share some of my experiences building things in public, and talk about why you should do it and what you should look out for. This talk is centered around Org-roam, a plain-text knowledge management system built on Emacs and Org-mode.
Speaker Profile:
Jethro is an ex-coreteam member of NUS Hackers, and currently a machine learning engineer at ByteDance. When he is not writing code, he enjoys playing the guitar and video games.
